Review | Recommendations | Investor Alignment
The Financial Model Review & Forecast Analysis is designed for founders who want credible, investor-ready financials and expert feedback on their existing models. This is a hands-on consulting engagement led by Ana Rusk, offering focused analysis, expert opinion, and actionable recommendations—not a full model build.
Step 1: Review & Assessment
You’ll begin by sharing your current financial model and supporting materials. Ana will review your model structure, assumptions, and forecasts, evaluating alignment with your business story and investor expectations.
Step 2: Consultation & Recommendations
After reviewing your materials, Ana will meet with you to discuss findings and suggestions for improvement. This includes identifying gaps, refining key drivers, and aligning your projections with a realistic growth and funding strategy.
Step 3: Targeted Revisions & Walkthrough
Based on the feedback discussion, Ana will make targeted adjustments or recommendations for you to incorporate. You’ll then meet again to review the updates, ensuring your model communicates clarity, credibility, and investor readiness.
What You’ll Gain
This process goes beyond the numbers—it helps founders tell a stronger financial story that reinforces their credibility with investors. You’ll gain:
Clear insight into how investors interpret your financials.

What’s Included
Blind Review | 1:1 Deck Review | Investor Panel Feedback
The Deck Review Advanced is a professional, investor-grade evaluation designed for founders who want rigorous, real-world feedback and a chance to experience what it’s like to pitch to experienced investors.
You’ll receive everything included in the Deck Review Basic, plus a facilitated, panel-style session with three experienced angel investors who have each reviewed more than 1,000 decks in recent years. This process simulates an actual investor review—giving you insight, confidence, and clarity before you enter the real room.
Step 1: Blind Review
Submit your current deck for an independent review. Your lead reviewer—Mysty Rusk or Judy Mahan—will analyze your slides as investors would, noting what’s clear, what’s missing, and what stands out. You’ll receive written feedback and suggested improvements before your live session.
Step 2: One-on-One Presentation Review
In this 60-minute session, you’ll present your refined deck and receive expert feedback from your lead reviewer. Together, you’ll examine your deck slide by slide to identify story gaps, strengthen your value proposition, and fine-tune your delivery.
Step 3: Investor Panel Review
Once you’ve made updates, you’ll pitch your deck to a three-person investor panel. Each panelist brings deep experience in early-stage investing and provides candid, constructive feedback during a one-hour live session. You’ll receive a recording of the panel, written summaries from each reviewer, and—when appropriate—investor introductions.
What You’ll Gain
This premium review mirrors what real investors look for and how they assess opportunity, giving you unparalleled insight into your company’s readiness to raise.
Founders walk away with:
Practical, investor-aligned recommendations to strengthen clarity, credibility, and traction.
An honest evaluation of what’s resonating—and what’s not.
The experience of a simulated investor pitch in a professional, moderated setting.

What’s Included
Blind Review | 1:1 Deck Presentation | Actionable Insights
Your Deck Review Basic includes two professional feedback sessions designed to strengthen both your story and your slides. You’ll receive direct, detailed input from experienced reviewers who’ve analyzed thousands of decks and helped founders secure millions in funding.
Step 1: Blind Review
You’ll begin by submitting your current pitch deck for an independent written review. We’ll assess clarity, flow, visual design, and investor readiness — without any added context — just as an investor would. You’ll receive slide-by-slide notes and written feedback identifying strengths, gaps, and opportunities to sharpen your story.
Step 2: Presentation Review
Next, you’ll meet one-on-one with Mysty Rusk or Judy Mahan for a 60-minute live session. You’ll deliver your pitch as you would to investors, then receive professional, slide-by-slide feedback and an open discussion about strategy, storytelling, and structure. You’ll leave with a clear roadmap to strengthen your presentation and increase investor confidence.
Every Deck Review Basic includes a Zoom recording of your session, written feedback for reference, and personalized recommendations for your next steps — including guidance toward your Investor Readiness Lab or Deal Review Panel.
